“They don’t have such permits yet. They should be issued by the Civil Aviation Agency of Georgia , ”the press service of the company that owns airports in Tbilisi and Batumi said.
Recall, on May 11, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said that the country would be able to receive flights of Russian carriers that were not subject to European sanctions. As an example, he cited the experience of Israel, Turkey and China, which have direct air links with Russia.
According to him, the permission of flights will be dictated solely by economic considerations. European “true friends” of Georgia should not worry about this.
